Meet The Carminex Team

Loreto CorsettiChief Draftsman, Montreal Office

As the founder of Carminex, Loreto has over 50 years of experience in equipment design, manufacturing processes, quality control, and consulting on major projects. After graduating in 1964 from the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Meccanico in Italy, Loreto spent several years as a missile operator for the Italian Army before moving to Canada to work as a draftsman for Jeffrey Manufacturing, where he was responsible for the designs of conveyor systems and elevators.

As Chief Draftsman with Piedmont Industries-Hewitt Robins for over a decade, Loreto was responsible for the design of rock crushers, vibrating feeders and screens, portable plants, and complete systems for quarries and mines.

An in-depth understanding of the aggregates industry alongside technical capabilities created the ideal conditions for Loreto to start Carminex Inc. in 1988. From 1988 onwards Carminex has continued to grow, and these decades of experience with the manufacturing of aggregate products, quality control, design, and his work as a consultant has made Loreto and Carminex a positive addition to the Sepro team.
